A group of young people with a spirit of service, ACTIVE was founded by 1985 and was registered by the Registrar of Societies at Hyderabad under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act I of 1350F). ACTIVE also has registration number in terms of Section 6(1) (a) of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 from the Government of India.

ACTIVE office is located at Kallur which is a Mandal Headquarters in the Revenue District of Khammam situated in Andhra Pradesh, South India. Kallur is located 49 Km from Khammam. The district of Khammam is located between 16^o45' and 18^o35' Northern Latitude and 79^o47' and 80^o36' East Longitude.
